The Boy Jesus among the Doctors

As in many images of this episode, Jesus is placed high in the center and points to Heaven, but this time he stands under a canopy as if in an ambo. The image thus aligns the gospel event with the preaching taking place from the actual ambo, leading the "old man" within the congregation to the new life announced by the boy.
